George Allen is an ex-Governor, and he has built up his national security credos in the Senate.Don't see much of George Allen but it's too early for him to start stepping out - especially if he wants to be "new and improved" by 2008. But he should be on the speaking circuit and raising money.

It will be interesting to see him go against Warner.
Notice how Rasmussen picks the three Republicans they want for the nomination. I don't know a Republican in America who would vote for McCain.

The Virginia gubernatorial race tarnished his image somewhat, and Democrats see him as vulnerable in 2006. They're looking for a candidate to challenge him. If they can beat him, or even give him a close race, it could hurt his presidential chances.
