It is entirely possible to love them, and then, with love, kick their ***es.

Evil needs to be defeated. It's for their own good as well as everyone else's. It is not love to allow innocents to be killed or tortured, and evil to run rampant.

Love is not always ooey gooey.

But you know that, being a teacher!

Christianns didn't complete the job -- that's what happens when you leave a job half-finished. We should have somehow united with the Golden horde and wiped out the cult of the moongod

Mooselimbs terrorize, infect, and destroy just about every single country they come in contact with...yet it is a "religion of peace"(tm)

Well, that is what the George Bushes keep telling us. They wouldn't be just cheap, pandering politicians, would they?

I believe in loving my enemies, too. But I also believe in being a good steward with God's gifts. I have only so much available to give to charity and I prefer to use it where I believe it will do the most good.

No need for you to feel guilty.

Another reason they blindly follow their leaders is that a VERY LARGE percentage of the Muslim world is illiterate.

Your idea about the literature drop wouldn't have any effect in a lot of areas.

Most Pakistanis are either completely illiterate or if products of a few years of dismal public schooling functionally illiterate (literary Arabic is truly an elite language requiring a lot of diligent study to master a complex yet vague language totally unfitted to expressing clear thought). What the mullahs tell the illiterate, unemployed rabble is taken as literal truth.

I love your first sentence. It should be on someone's quote wall I think:).

I imagine my own parents have hit their head against the wall many times about me, but I'm glad that we had such great parents to raise us. And yes, I had to have my a-- kicked a few times by my dad if I disrespected my mom. After many sore backsides I finally learned my lesson.

Love is not always ooey, gooey, sometimes you have to wash your hands.

I often marvel at the Savior's control of words and the situations around him. Someday I hope to hope to have even a fraction of that. Every time I read the Bible, the more my admiration for him grows.

"Religion of Peace" and allahu fubar alert!

It is a "religion of peace"....really it is, our leaders tell us so. Huh? The Christians places burned by the jihadstinians? Ummmm, pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!

Rarely a day goes by without me pinging the lists! The Moral Absolutes ping list has been very busy. FR is just huge.

If you want to get in on some interesting debates, you can sign on the Moral Absolutes and/or Homosexual Agenda ping lists. They're a daily occurance, unfortunately.

Evil never sleeps, so those of us trying to monitor it can't take a vacation.

:-)

Three churches, a nuns‘ convent, two Catholic schools, the houses of a Protestant pastor and of a parish priest, a girls’ hostel, some Christian homes, were first vandalized and then set on fire by an angry crowd of around 2,000 people in the village of Sangla Hill, Nankana district in Punjab.

The Religion of Peace®? I'm shocked, SHOCKED!

I have seen how busy that one gets. Your last sentence most aptly applies and is VERY accurate. I'll have to think about it. I've been pretty busy lately and seem to stay busy on here with other things too.

I do try to be a force for good in my own community (though I have a LONG way to go to fully be). I am becoming more involved community wise. I am thankful we elected a mayor who has a lot of integrity.

I remember years ago when I wrote a LONG letter to the Scouting for All guys about their efforts against the Boy Scouts. I said that they should be more concerned with making sure the Boy Scouts keep out child molestors and abusers rather than pushing their "gay" campaign. Of course, they didn't reply back.

One time I got lambasted on some gay thread because I say that while all gays were not child molestors, that any men who molested boys were gay.

I commend you for your strong stances and for looking out for things.

I'll have to see what is there if I get in the mood for some debates.

We need a national Koran day at least one day a month. On this day we rip up several Korans and toss them in the barbecue and use the fire to roast a small pig. The drippings off of the roasting pig will fuel the fires on the Korans for hours.
After the roast pigs are done and removed from the fire, the barbecues should be lowered to ground level and all the males at the party should extinguish the fire by urinating on what is left of the Korans.
I think this new American custom should take place on every American block, in each and every American city at least on time each month.
The last part I like the best, it is a chapter right out of the Arab laws. Any protester who interferes with this custom should be arrested and sentenced to death.
