Jeb Bush leaves open White House bid (This will add to Lib rage. Yes.)

BERLIN (Reuters) - Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, the brother of U.S. President George W. Bush, ruled out running for president in 2008 but left open the possibility of a subsequent bid in an interview with a German magazine published on Sunday.

Jeb Bush, who is scheduled to visit Germany this week, told Focus weekly he had not thought much about running for the office held by his father and older brother except to rule out the next election at the end of George W. Bush's second term.

"You should never say never. But for the 2008 election, my answer is definitely no," he said, in comments translated into German by the magazine.

Asked whether his answer meant a later challenge was possible, he said: "Let's say there's a vague chance."

Bush, 52, said he spoke frequently with his brother and visited the White House whenever he was in Washington but he said the two mainly discussed family matters or sport.

What better ay to enrage overconfident liberals than to suggest Bush Part III.

While liberals focus on destroying the sitting President, his brother is giving them reason to see him continue their lib misery.

This will drive them nuts.

I hope it's never. The country can't take much more of these liberal Bush dynasty policies.

I'm just gald he is adding to the mix of news.

Libs control MSM propaganda.

Targeting their spirts with news that Jeb Bush is even thinking of a run some day completely flips their world view on its' rear.

In their mind, Bush 43 is a lame duck.

This news will frighten them. Have them thinking of another Bush Presidency. OHHH!! NOOO!

Even if it doesn't happen. The idea that these libs must ponder it and cringe at a time they think they are winning makes me very happy.

makes the presidency seem like a family business

Isn't that what the Kennedys are striving for?

Jeb is quite a bit more conservative than GW. And he likes to pander to the conservative base, too.

After 2 failures, I don't think we should risk a third. There are plenty of other non-Bush conservatives out there.

I agree. I live in Florida, so I've seen him in action.

We are very handicapped by a few powerful RINOs in our State Senate (such as Jim King), so many of his plans haven't gotten through. But he does fight for them, and he's very outspoken and firm. He has a generally outgoing personality and is pretty popular overall. His wife is not very politically active, but that's fine - neither is Laura, thank goodness. I got so sick of the "co-President" nonsense.

Having a family dynasty at the top of the Republican Party may not necessarily be a good thing. The idea does have amusement value, mind you, in so far that Howard Dean will be chewing up all the carpets in DNC HQ.

I am not advocating his actual run.

I am advocating his mentioning it in order to cause the kook fringe of the Democrats to go insane.

There is value in that.

I have no problem with other conservatives, provided that they are conservative and they can get elected. I don't see anyone on the horizon, though, who's more conservative than Bush, who I think has a decent chance of getting elected. The only person who's been mentioned so far who I think is more conservative than Jeb is Tancredo. His chances are slim and nothing.

The DU morons are already plotting a story line that has him stealing the election, just like his brother did.

Jeb is my governor and I think he's one of the most impressive leaders I've ever seen. He'd make a great president.

The kook fringe is by definition, already insane. I wonder what driving them more insane would look like.
