And what makes you think that the democrats and the open borders Republicans will ever allow this to pass? It sounds to me like good legislation that would have a significant impact on the border control problem....which is exactly why it will be dead in the water. There are too many lawmakers and special interests who don't want effective border control. They stand too much to lose because illegals are their bread and butter or their political clout.

Then it's up to us to let our elected reps know they won't be elected until they secure the border and that WE are their "political clout".
