I'm glad that you mentioned WWI and the devestation it wrought on the European continent--I believe the death toll figure is close to 20 million...mostly young men...that dang trench warfare and the invention of the machine gun destroyed nearly an entire generation...then came WW2...no wonder they're so anti-war over there...war has ravaged their gene pool.

You may as well "dialog" with a rabid wolverine. I don't know whether to laugh, cry, or puke whenever I see one of those "War Is Not the Answer" bumper stickers (and in a college town I see a lot). I drove by one of the fools this summer when he had his windows down and shouted "what was the question?" All I got was a puzzled look.
