If Israel wasn't there they would have absolutely no one to blame but themselves...and we all know how unlikely it is that the arab population will ever actually look inward to solve some of their issues.

As I understand it, Arafat probably died from a lifetime of being probed in deviant ways. Probably by more than a few UN types, too, if their friendly relations with the PLO and off duty sex ring escapades are considered.

The real question is why the Israelis let that POS live as long as he did. The air definitely feels cleaner now that he's no longer polluting it. And I got nausious every time I saw him lock lips with a world leader. How they did that without puking all over him is beyond me.
