We still have too many who are sitting on the fence and not entering the fray to support us.

I agree

That speech that Santorum gave the other day about the President needing to be better at explain to the American people the reason for the WOT and what is at stake if we pull out and lose Iraq ..

In general I agree with .. the WH does need to do a better PR handling of this all

But what bothers me about Rick's comment is ..

Where they heck was he and other Senators when Teddy Kennedy announced on the Senate Floor that the day of the death of the 2000th Soldier ... that it was a Milestone and calling it an Auspicious day ??

We were they when Harry Reid went to the Senate Floor and called the President a liar??

I wish I had an answer, but I don't. It's upsetting to me just as it is to you.

I realize DC style politics are foreign to me on many things but this seems to be way off base with our side lacking support.

And ... why can't Santorum, himself, "explain to the American people the reason for the WOT", rather than waiting for the President to do it?

Is GWB the only Republican on the planet?

I used to be a big Santorum fan, but his backing off the President, rather than a strong offense, IMHO, is a big mistake. The same goes for all the Republicans.
