Rush was talking about this on Friday, and it seems that Mary Mapes (in her interview with Larry King) has let the cat out of the bag. She said, "Nobody has proven the documents were wrong. It's up to them to prove I'm wrong".

In other words .. as a reporter SHE CAN MAKE ANY CHARGE SHE WANTS TO SUIT HER AGENDA - and IT'S UP TO JOE SCHMUCK TO PROVE THAT SHE'S LYING.

Rush said that Chris Matthews was interviewing some well-known reporter, and he was stunned at Mapes statement and said it was not related to the journalism he knew.

Rush contended this was the dirty little secret of how the media operates today - just throw the charge out there - and let the sucker swing in the wind trying to prove the media is wrong.

Looks like that's what they have done with the "flawed intel" stuff. Like Bush said, "they know" it isn't flawed.

I have been thinking about this accusation about manipulated inte = cherry picking. Now how is it that Joe Wilson went to Niger in 1999, (history), goes again in Feb. 2002, and here we have the VP in 2003 supposedly seeking to find out who the .ell Joe Wilson is and what is going on.

This suggests to me that somebody was manipulating the "intel" by leaving out who was who and who was doing what.

Could this be another case of the liberals having done the very thing they point their accusing fingers to others for having done???
