They killed hundreds of nominations in the Supreme Court. That is the most hypocritical nonsense.

Isn't it amazing how Dean can make hysteric nonsensical statement after statement and it just floats right by the Dinosaur Media yet if a Republican stumbles over their words its a banner headline story? Yeah, "Objective" Journalist

Note: Yes, Microsoft should be added.

I forgot about Microsoft. But while Im at it, I should also add the assault on the family. The nineties brought about some draconian changes to the family. Remember Hillarys ghosted It takes a village? Then of course we had "mend it, dont end it" which really meant, we like it the way it is, but we'll form a committee, charge the taxpayers and then hope they forget we did absoluteley nothing about it. Minorities still get preference on tuition. And who can forget Clinton being counseled by Jesse Jackson for his infidelity, while Jesse's mistress was 5 months into her term with his love child?? The condom tree, craig livingston, the FBI files, with all the corrption, its no wonder Atta and his merry band of pranksters just walked right in-the distractions in the Clinton WH left the door wide open!

Thank you...he did mention the Supreme Court when talking about Clinton's nominees not getting confirmed...but, I think he misspoke...

BUT, as verified by Cboldt's post...he is wrong about the number of confirmed justices in Clinton's time.

Plus, I do believe that despite the "agreement" that the Gang of 14 dwarfs wrote up...there are STILL quite a few nominees waiting for confirmation votes...sigh

I do not know full numbers but just heard 350 were burned last night and that was a quarter down on the previous night.

Isn't that a fact. Fling "border control" (with quotes) into the Congressional Wayback Machine for a few real hoots! [Congressional Record: May 26, 2005 (House)] [Page H4120]

And what, if anything has come OUT of Congress about this issue?

Instead of waiting on the President - they should DO SOMENTHING, themselves!

Oh yeah, agree completely. Cannot figure out when Ronald Reagan's Conservatives turned into such a bunch of whiny babies waiting for SOMEONE to save them. I though we were the people that believed in responsiblity for self.

Powerful proof of what is totally wrong in America right now...

You have Mary Mapes going around hawking a book and crying about mistreatment....when she was a party to FRAUD...

And you have a leading "news show" perpetrating a FRAUDULENT accounting of a former Administration employee's words...

President Bush is playing against "the houses stacked deck"..and will always come out the loser with these odds.

I dont know how to post links without looking at the sandbox, but there is another thread where it says W will be making a speech based on a Clinton speech and will mention other flip floppers on Iraq, like Pelosi and Reid, using past quotes of theirs..

I thought all TV can be monitored whether normal aerial or satellite or cable. Otherwise how can they tell how many million watched a particular show.

I do believe that despite the "agreement" that the Gang of 14 dwarfs wrote up...there are STILL quite a few nominees waiting for confirmation votes

Half a dozen nominations for Circuit Courts of Appeal - the one with the shortest time in the hopper dating back to 2003. There are two nominations out of committee and on the Senate's Executive Calendar. Myers since March, Boyle since June 2005.

IMO, it is the MOU in combination with threats from Reid that keeps Frist and Specter from advancing any of the stalled nominations.

Summary of Circuit Court Nominations

F = 7 subjected to failed cloture motions in 108th Congress
4 = "1 of 4" that DEMs offered to let GOP choose which 3 to dump
S = Positive mention in Specter's May 9, 2005 speech

M = MOU of 14 will not vote against cloture
m = MOU of 14 makes no promise regarding cloture
R = Post-MOU, Reid indicates desire to filibuster

C = Out of committee & on the Senate's Executive Calendar
U = Unanimous consent to debate - date TBD
D = Democrats offer to debate - date TBD
v = Debate and vote scheduled
V = Vote -on the nomination- concluded

       --S -- C-- Boyle, Terrence W. (4th Cir)
       --- -R --- Haynes, William James II (4th Cir)
       F4S M- CUV Owen, Priscilla (5th Cir)
       F-S -- CUV Griffin, Richard A. (6th Cir)
       F-S -- CUV McKeague, David W. (6th Cir)

       F-- mR --- Saad, Henry W. (6th Cir)
F4S mR C-- Myers, William Gerry III (9th Cir)
       F4S M- CUV Pryor, William H. (11th Cir)
F4S M- CUV Brown, Janice Rogers (D.C. Cir)
       --S -- CUV Griffith, Thomas B. (D.C. Cir)
       --- -R --- Kavanaugh, Brett M. (D.C. Cir)

They spin it and/or only use portions of the poll that comes closest to supporting their position. Otherwise, they will claim the people polled did not understand or realize the implications.

In 2004 the savage attacks and lies by liberals and their media whores were even more intense than now. President Bush won re-election with the largest number of votes ever cast for a President, and the GOP increased its majority in Congress. Keep the faith my fellow freeper.

Thanks so much. This is one of the most thoughtful and heart wrenching stories I have read in along time. I hope everyone gets to read it and see just what kind of enemy we are up against. An enemy who kills children with reckless abandon.
