Agreed, it is a two way street. These PrimaDonnas need a shake up but I'm afraid President Bush won't do it.

Good point, in order to be the Top Democrat on the Intelligence Committee it would be a huge asset to be smarter than your Bowl of Corn Flakes. The way Stinkerfeller is going he may be on his way out. He sounds so bad, it will be hard to defend his stupid behavior and statements. I think we need to all call Harry Reid and Hillary(the real Minority Leader)tomorrow and let them know he is not qualified to be on the Committee let alone top dog on that committee. I am not sure who would be his replacement they are all dim bulbs.

If House or Senate Republicans lose future races, they'll blame GWB, but it's the above that will be the real cause - themselves who let the President down.

You're right about that. What's worse is that it was with the President's leadership that the Senate regained and then built on the majority and built on the House majority as well. In return the Republican Congress has run away from Social Security reform, failed to manage spending, been held hostage in the Senate by filibusters, etc. etc. etc.

Many? McCain, Snowe, Collins and a few others, but the lack of support now is greater than the liberal Republicans who were never really with us. We still have too many who are sitting on the fence and not entering the fray to support us.

So Clinton lied and MANIPULATED THE INTEL to fit his agenda. Perhaps this is why the dems want the public to believe the repubs did the same with Iraq. It's the same old "projection tecnique" in action all over again.

Clinton claimed it was another Holocaust

"They didn't did just let the President down

They let down the people who voted to get them in office"

Glad you added that. I thought of it, after I posted.

They're letting all of us who voted for the President down, too. We are constituents of both the Congress and the Senate, but it doesn't seem to matter to them.

Both.

An accused tax swindler who is the former husband of a major Clinton donor; two felons who paid Clinton's brother-in-law $400,000 to lobby on their behalf; and the former president's own half-brother.

Sen. Hillary Clinton said that she herself had been unaware until the evening of February 19 that her brother, lawyer Hugh Rodham, received $400,000 to lobby for two wealthy felons.

Under pressure from his sister, Rodham said he would return the money he was rewarded after clemency was granted for Almon Glenn Brawell, who was convicted of mail fraud and perjury, and Carlos Vignali, a cocaine trafficker.

Sen. Clinton told a news conference that she was "disappointed" and "heartbroken" when she learned about the roles of her brother and husband in the commutations.

The new senator also had to deflect criticism over the disclosure that her campaign treasurer, William Cunningham III, helped obtain clemency for Robert Fain and James Manning, two tax felons from Arkansas.

Cunningham acknowledged at a news conference that he received $4,000 in legal fees to prepare Justice Department applications on behalf of Fain and Manning, restaurant operators from Little Rock. Cunningham's law partner is Harold Ickes, Clinton's former White House deputy chief of staff and an adviser to Hillary Clinton. Cunningham said that television producer Harry Thomason, a long- time Clinton friend from Arkansas, also played a role in seeking pardons for Fain and Manning.

Hillary Clinton's budding Senate career grew even more complicated after the Associated Press reported on February 23 that Manhattan U.S. Attorney Mary Jo White was expanding her probe of the Rich pardon and investigating whether Clinton commuted the sentences of four Hasidic Jews in exchange for votes for his wife.

Kalmen Stern, David Goldstein, Benjamin Berger and Jacob Elbaum were convicted of swindling more than $40 million in government money. Clinton reduced the jail terms of the men, who are members of the Hasidic New York community of New Square. The community voted overwhelmingly for Hillary Clinton on November 7.

Hillary Clinton had acknowledged earlier that she sat in on a December meeting with supporters of clemency for the four men, but said she played no part in her husband's decision to commute their sentences.

Former President Clinton's younger half-brother, Roger Clinton, has also been questioned about his involvement in the presidential pardon process.

Julia Payne, an aide to Bill Clinton, acknowledged that Roger Clinton once made a personal appeal for clemency by handing his half brother a list of "about five or six" friends and acquaintances and asking the president to consider them.

But Roger Clinton was more successful on another front. His half brother pardoned him for a 1985 conviction on cocaine charges.

It was this very idea which brought the rift between Blair and Clinton. When Blair came to Washington and spoke before Congress, Blair said this:

On July 17, 2003, Tony Blair made this statement:

“There is no more dangerous theory in international politics than that we need to balance the power of America with other competitive powers; different poles around which nations gather.

“Such a theory may have made sense in 19th century Europe. It was perforce the position in the Cold War.

“Today, it is an anachronism to be discarded like traditional theories of security. And it is dangerous because it is not rivalry but partnership we need; a common will and a shared purpose in the face of a common threat”.

Personally, I believe the statement by Tony was a slap in the face to Bill Clinton. Clinton's whole admin had this same opinion when they were in office. Maddie said that if everybody had the same weapons then there would be no reason for people to be shooting at each other. That was their reasoning for giving NK and China the weapons programs.

Why can't the RNC, Senatorial Campaign and Congressional Campaign Committees do it?

I, and my family and friends, have stopped contributing to all of them because we don't want our money going to those who don't support judicial appointments, WOT, tax cuts, ANWAR, etc.

The only effective way to reign in the "mavericks" is to threaten them with no money, and I'm afraid the above Committees won't do that ...... In fact, I know they won't.

They'd be getting a lot more contributions if people knew they'd do it!

Maybe, we should start emailing them and telling them so.

I don't think they've figured it out, yet, even though I've been telling to those who call for a contribution .....

The big clubs were Sam Nunn and Colin Powell. That episode was like watching your 7 year old playing in the dirt - then again - that is where the clinton's play.

What about mediacrats?

Hundreds of cars are being burnt in France.
How media is reporting that?
How the media would have reported it if it happened in Iraq?
Wouldn't all TV screens filled with those burnings and 24 hour split screen of those with any news?
Or if a tenth of that cars burned in New Orleans how would have these mediacrats behaved?

Just guess.
