"Dean says that there was evidence removed from the intelligence given to the Congress. Calls the Admin corrupt and that the Admin is lying on the deficit. He is way over the top".

That is where I had to walk away from the TV. Wonder if Tim will ask Dean about his lousy fund raising efforts. Doubt it.

There it is---from Juan. The Dems latest talking point is that, "Yes, Clinton et al saw the same threat from Saddam. BUT HE DIDN'T GO TO WAR!"

What's worse? A president who evaluated the intelligence, saw a threat, and acted to eliminate the threat? Or a president who evaluated the intelligence, saw a threat, and did nothing?

I've heard this argument from them at least 4 times in the last week. It must be on the memo...pubbies should pounce. The Dems' biggest weakness is the public's concern that they won't be tough on national defense.

I'm anxious to see that too. IF Rockefeller did this, he is guilty of undermining the country and guilty of treasonous behavior, in my opinion.

Those dimms think we cannot see thru them. Howard Dean is pathetic, and I still wonder why he wanted to quit practicing medicine.

"I believe this unholy alliance between the media and Democrats is driving the poll numbers because they are fighting to get back their lost influence over the country."

Brilliant post. Why can't our guys expose all this better than they have been?

He said the same thing last week. Clinton is a personal coward, I am convinced, and would never have taken on this task. Many have said that the country would never have been behind going to war before 9/11. I don't know if that's correct, but after 9/11 we had to get proactive or else.

There is no question he had WMD. The bigger question is what did he do with them. People should remember that Saddam flew his Air Force to Iran prior to the start of Gulf War as well as burying the aircraft. We have found some remnants in Iraq. I suspect the WMD are in Syria and/or buried somewhere within Iraq.

I'm a pretty optimistic person, but I'm having trouble seeing how the Administration survives this onslaught of coordinated media attacks and lies.

Rockefeller constituents that are Freepers have said many times in the past that he is a very dim bulb, and lacks intelligence. We know that there are a lot of Senators that are stuck on stupid, but when you are on those committees you better have the brain power to read reports and vote on them without asking Hillary. He is the Top Dem on that committee and he is playing Dumb? That is way beyond the guy that said he lied to his notes. It is laughable even for a dim bulb like him. He is making Boxer, and Mikulski look smart next to him.

The Oil for Food scandal was confirmation that Saddam had the means to either develop his own WMD or buy them from places like Pakistan and North Korea. We would not have learned about the extent of this scandal without the invasion.

Exactly. The MSM puts on the "tunnel vision" glasses on when they report these stories. They refuse to stand back, look at the "entire" picture. This is what most Americans are fed day in day out. These "opinion polls" are just a measure of "snippets & sound bites"

And of course we know which "snippets & sound bites" are fed to the public.

"Well, Mr Clinton, those, er, cold sores are clearing up nicely, YEEEEAAAAAAAGGGGHHHHHHHHH!"

Probably had something to do with his bedside manner..

Heard with my own lying ears:

After showing clips of Jay Rockefeller going on about Saddam and WMD's before the Dems decided to capitalize on everyone's miscalculation and laying at the feet of the Prez:

Mike Wallace-"Mr. Rockefeller, you voted for us to go to war with Saddam. Does not your vote count?"

Jay Rockefeller-"No".

HEH. Ads we'd like to see:

In case anyone brings up J.D. Hayworth's statement that he didn't want the president campaigning for him, here is the context of his remarks.

Wednesday November 9, 2005.

Imus: "Would you welcome President Bush to Arizona to campaign for you?"

Rep. J.D. Hayworth (R) AZ: "I would welcome President Bush to Arizona to come with me along the border and see the problems that the ranchers and law abiding American citizens are having there. I would welcome President Bush to get tough on illegal immigration and understand that what happens on the border of the United States and Mexico is just as important as what's happening on the border of Syria and Iraq. So I would welcome President Bush to come and get serious with an enforcement first policy toward illegal immigration rather than a campaign. I think let's govern first and then let the voters decide about a campaign."

Imus: "Yeah, I was gonna point out that that wasn't even coming too close to answering my question...now why don't you just answer my question. Would you like him to come to Arizona and cut some campaign commercials for you and run them on all those TV stations in  Phoenix, in Tucson, in Flagstaff, in Prescott and everywhere?"

And yes I am a Hayworth Bot.

After Hannity exposed the memo concerning the planned Democrat actions over investigations, I have zero respect for anything Rockefeller has to say. The man is a liar and a thief as far as I'm concerned, and he shames his state and country.

His JOB includes intelligence oversight. For him to make any claim of not knowing what was happening in Iraq is unacceptable. If he can't do his job, he needs to leave the position and let someone else do it.

There is little value or validity in polls that have loaded questions designed to solicit a particular response AND polling MORE dems than reps. I discount all of them.

When Dean or another dem spouts the line about "kids going to bed hungry...cuts in school lunch program" why doesn't some genious interviewer bother to ask why we're not seeing kids die of starvation during the summer months?
