Did you see Rasmussen yesterday? He was polling Bush JA at 46%. What a difference a speech makes! I heardexcerpts from the speech and the rebuttal from Reid and Kerry. Their response was a hollow rehashing of DeanNC talking points. Im surprised at how starkly the two contrasted. Anu honest, and reasonable American who have concluded similarly, Im convinced of it..

Yeah right. We got all this speculation and guessing discussed as news when the Nations Chief Law Enforcement Officer lied under oath. There was this 3 week Hysteria about who was going to be indited for Travelgate, the FBI File, Trysongate. IRSGate and any other of a dozen scandals.
When a knows Democrat activists makes wildly impossible accusations about Bolton, the Press demands Bolton prove himself innocent. When The Swift Boat Vets raise questions about Kerrys claims about his Military Service, the Vets are slimed.
Notice something? The ONLY people give the benefit of the doubt in any of these situations is the DEMOCRAT. Democrats, Even when guilty as sin like Clinton, get excused by the Dinosaur Media, Republicans are guilty just because the accusation is made.
Spin both ways? Nonsense.
I would ask Russert, "Jimmy Carter won the Nobel Prize but his presidency was an unmitigated disaster. Does this mean we should go back to 21% inflation, 20 % prime interest rates, hostages taken from Embassy soil (in clear violation of international law), a major oil crisis and "malaise" in the American people?

Rockefeller is very defensive this morning after relating that he went to the Middle East "by myself" and told various leaders that Bush made the decision to invade September 13 2001.

Today's senators all think of themselves as presidents. GWBs courtesy and non-retributive manner have the senators all perceiving him as weak. I heard recently that Spector also was somewhere talking to heads of state on policy matters - can't remember the details. I wish W would develop a little bit of a scorpion's tail and use it - judiciously.
He announced to "dinner companions"-read- choreographed leak on the heels of the fake plane crash story. Just like when Mike McCurry blasted the media for the *eeeeeewww* Hillary and Bill beach dance set up, er, spontaneous expression of marital bliss, which no one in the media had seen yet!
It's become the "Anti All Things American" award, that's what Timmy likes so much about it. The thing has no remaining credibility.
That's a DNC talking point this morning. Rockefeller said the same thing on FNS.
I willbe atching FNS on the replay this evening. I, too, would be interested in finding out when he took this trip and which leaders he visited.
