When are moderate muslims going to police their own and purge their ranks of the radical islamists amoung them? As far as I am concerned, if you are a muzzie, you are either with the radical islamists or you are against them. Take your pick. Where are the fatwahs agains bin laden, zawahiri, and al-zarqawi ? Where are the protest marches in the streets, candlelight vigils and full page newspapers ads denouncing radical islam and it's leaders? We are waiting. It's time to show your hand. It's time for the whole world to know which side you are on.
That would be tantamount to having "lukewarm Christians" purge the church of the devout. The passion exists only in the hearts of the true believers.
True Islam (as defined by the example of the Prophet) is all about sex, piracy, death, and destruction.
The time for waiting is past. The Muslim world has had ample time to demonstrate which side it is on. And it has, in fact, done so.
As far as I have seen, the only good Muslim is a lapsed Muslim. All of the rest appear either to be Islamofascists or enablers.
I, too, used to think there were moderate Muslims who were opposed to the radical Muslims. The fact is, a moderate Muslim is someone who won't cut off somebody's head themself, but has no problem when one of the radicals does it. That's the definition of a moderate Muslim. Now you can see why they say nothing.
