The problem for a Latino insurrection is that we've embraced the Latino population for so long, you just can't tell a potential terrorist from a loyal American. It'd be bloody, but in the end, I think an insurrection would be crushed because their own people who were loyal would overwhelm them.

But in reality? I think if CA attempted to secede, depending on who was President at the time, I think the response could potentially be: "See ya!".

Of course that's tongue and cheek. Even the dims may resent a secession attempt. They'd never win another election if all of those liberal CA electoral votes just disappeared one day.

I work with many legal Mexican immigrants and to a man they are still loyal to Mexico. They just came here to suck off of the U.S. because it's so easy. As for being so hard working I haven't noticed that they're any more hard working than the rest of the folks I work with. Now their children may be a different story.
