I'd say the king is about 4 years late to the party.

True, he's very late to the party. But if he's sincere, and his heart is in the right place....for the LONG HAUL.......I welcome him with open arms...it's better he's with us than against us....or remained neutral, which, really, is against us, too.
The prodigal son had to experience life in the pig stye before his eyes were opened. Sometimes, even those who hit bottom still never see.
If this tragedy caused the King to have an awakening, albeit after a long slumber, perhaps he can do great things in the Middle East/Arab world, in helping turn the tide with their people.
Better late than never.
I don't know the sincerity of this call, but I do hope it is the start of Muslim intervention against the thugs that hijacked their religion.
Of all people on the earth to be involved in this fight, it is the Muslims that claim they do not agree with or believe as the terrorists do.
One can always hope.
