What a hero, like so many others. We all need to stop and remember those who have died so that others could live in freedom. All of our freedoms we owe to those who were willing to sacrifice. We have liberated hundreds of millions of people in war after war. I do not know of a family who has not suffered personal loss in at least one of these wars.
And now some of them forget. How truly sad that is.

I share your sentiments about the media; however, a 20:1 kill ratio is not sustainable in the long run. There are a lot more of them than there are of us. We will either have to ramp up our lethality to a kill ratio of hundreds or thousands to one, which will mean a great deal more civilian casulties, or we will suffer the death of a thousand cuts as we did in Vietnam. Win convincingly, or get out.

Sometimes I go through the channels and listening to Fox and Cnn is like watching an American channel and the soviet union channel. and Murtha continues to degrade the military with a straight and sober face, I just don't get it. For the democratic party they can not let the Iraqi war be a victory. I have to admit it they scare me. And Hillery has so much money, I would hate to see her as President more than those who hate Bush.
