Much public speech that is free speech in the USA would be considered "Hate Speech" in Canada.

Just saying that Canada Federal Politics was tyrannized by
French Canadian politicians from 1969 to 2002 can get you arrested for political hate speech against French Canadians. No one cares whether it is true or not!
