That poll only serves to prove that CNN is visited by more leftists than conservatives.
That's about it.

CNN preloads their polls to reflect what they believe to the the overall sentiment in the country to prevent (in their minds) loading the polls by web groups. Of course, this automatically puts their bias into the polls before anyone can vote.

I think those polls are preset by CNN, kinda like the temperature gauge on my old Comet. It could be shooting water ten feet in the air, but the gauge would still read in the normal range

We need that kind of voting technology on this side of the isle. They must be running a program which defeats the sites attempt to get 1 vote from each client. This has to account for the unbalanced result. There can't be that many uninformed idiots out there, can there?

After viewing your post I went and voted but the vote count didn't change.
I think CNN is not allowing their poll to be FReeped. They probabley have a way of recognizing that a user was linked via Free Republic.

Yep! Goebbels would be very proud.
"The Goebbels technique, also known as argumentum ad nauseam, is the name given to a policy of repeating a lie until it is taken to be the truth (see Big Lie). For example, when Goebbels took ownership of the Der Angriff (The Assault) newspaper, he attacked Berlin Police President Bernhard Weiss, calling him "Isidor" Weiss. To German ears, Isidor is a name with strong Jewish connotations. Eventually the public believed Isidor was Weiss' real given name and he became a figure of ridicule." - Excerpted from Wikipedia

To: My Favorite Headache
Internet poll, internet schmoll! It won't make a damn bit of difference. Those who want to believe the big lie will do so and no amount of disuasion will make a diff.
