exasperated residents of riot-torn suburbs prepared to march Friday near the Eiffel Tower

Meanwhile, the muslim rioters have announced they will be marching through the Arc de Triomphe as an Armistice Day tribute to the Nazi army and to commemorate their own victory over the French.

This won't stop until the French surrender (which already took place on 9/11/01, as the Frogs collectively wet their pants). A peaceful march by the moose-limbs is planned:

"We cannot yet claim victory...."

No, victory belongs to the rioters with Villepin's announcement of measures to appease them.

The French have actually created a "Department of Anti-Descrimination" which puts the onus squarely on the non-Muslim citizenry of France. The leadership cannot even bring itself to place blame on the perpetrators.

As to what multiculturalism and liberal socialism will combine to bring to the West, consider France to be the proverbial "canary in the coal mine".

as exasperated residents of riot-torn suburbs prepared to march Friday near the Eiffel Tower to call for an end to more than two weeks of car burnings and vandalism across France.Just for grins, I've got to ask:

Can anyone remind me of one instance in recorded history where massive unrestrained mindless animalistic criminal acivity was "stopped" my "marching"?

Inquiring minds...

We may have found the solution to Africa's utterly dismal present and future history.

"Today, we don't want an armistice--we want peace," national police chief Michel Gaudin told reporters. "An armistice is a temporary halt. What we want is definitive peace for the suburbs."

"We have, therefore, offered an complete, unconditional surrender to the Muslims of France, effective at 1100 hours local time."

Demonstrate? That's cute. Maybe they will convince the Muslims to join hands and sing.

Am I supposed to feel better or worse if my car is burnt on a night when the total number of car burnings is down?

President Jacques Chirac acknowledged Thursday that France must confront the social inequalities and discrimination that has fueled the violence _

This guy's as big an idiot on this subject as our U.S. leadership.
Reason with snakes and cockroaches? Treat them as equals? coddle them? social "inequalities" and "discrimination"?

How do you "force" a whole subculture to embrace personal responsibility, competence and achievement? The only means I can think of is fascism or some other form of totalitarianism.

Work or starve has such a nice ring to it...

God the French are stupid.
Their answer to everything is a protest march.
What the hell does that accomplish in the real world?
No wonder they are so damn ineffective.
Pathetic losers all.

fewer cars burned _ 463, down from 482 the previous night

Analysts pointed out that this represents a robust four percent decline, and based upon this performance experts have revised their forecasts and are now predicting that France won't run of of cars until the third quarter of 2006.

60,000 automobiles times say $10,000 each = $600 million.
