...noted historian Douglas Brinkley...

Douglas Brinkley = Tour of Duty

by Douglas Brinkley

..... As he campaigns for the 2004 Democratic presidential nomination, Senator John F. Kerry often cites his experience as a U.S. Navy patrol-boat skipper in Vietnam as a formative element of his character. Next month the historian Douglas Brinkley will publish the first full-scale, intimate account of Kerry's Navy career. In writing that account Brinkley has drawn on extensive interviews with virtually everyone who knew Kerry well in Vietnam, including all but one of the men still living who served under him.

Clinton challenged a statement by noted historian Douglas Brinkley, who opined in a newspaper interview that Clinton would be deemed a great president were it not for his impeachment.

Brinkley has no credibility as a historian whatsover. His suck up biography of Kerry and statements like this indicate that he is just a Dem partisan and not an objective observer of history. There is no way that Clinton would ever be deemed a great President by any measure.

I've never heard of any Republicans... or Democrat's other than Clintoon, who raped women. I've never heard of any of them killing-off their associates either. Nope... don't recall anything about that. Don't ever remember any president wearing an afro-wig or golfing at night in the rain either.

And I never... heard of any president, defiling an Oval Office sink.

in the middle of his investigation.

Paul Wilcher - Attorney investigating corruption at Mena Airport with Casolaro and the 1980 "October Surprise" was found dead on a toilet June 22,1993 in his Washington DC apartment. Had delivered a report to Janet

C. Victor Raiser II & Montgomery Raiser, - Major players in the Clinton fund raising organization: died in a private plane crash in July 1992.

What cocktail of drugs is Brinkley hooked on? How on earth can anyone seriously regard The 'Toon as a potentially great president in the aftermath of 09-11-01?

I keep thinking of that old song in relation to THAT MAN: "How can we miss you if you won't go away? Far, far away from me. . .".

Each time he or Carter shove their faces onto camera or into the public spotlight to spew some other dreck, I just cringe at their crass, yet puerile, loathing of any Americans who don't agree with them. Get over it. Grow up. But mostly, please just GO AWAY.

Cristy Zercher - unwelcomed sexual advance, intimidations

Paula Jones (AR) - unwelcomed sexual advance, exposure, bordering on sexual assault

Carolyn Moffet -unwelcomed sexual advance, exposure, bordering on sexual assault

1974 student at University of Arkansas - unwelcomed physical contact

Monica Lewinsky

Gennifer Flowers

asked if history judges him poorly because of his White House tryst with Monica Lewinsky,

No! Because you lied to a Grand Jury, perjured yourself and should have been arrested and removed from office, and not merely be only the second President to be impeached!

"Clinton, who was acquitted by the Senate of perjury and obstruction of justice at his 1999 impeachment trial, contended that the impeachment was not about what he called his "misconduct."

Actually, Klinton was impeached but not removed from the office. He was punished for perjury and obstruction of justice in the last day of his presidency by paying a fine of $20,000.00 and giving up his attorney licensee.

Here we go again... it wasn't about the sex or his tawdry affair in office. It was about lying under oath and subverting the administration of justice. The same libs that insist Scooter Libby must go to jail for lying to a grand jury argued to a man and woman Clinton deserved the benefit of the doubt to giving lying testimony in a court of law. It was proper to impeach Clinton. If the Senate had done its job, he would have been convicted. A President cannot be above the law. End of story.
