The latest Rasmussen Reports survey shows that Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum is continuing to lose ground in his battle for re-election. Santorum trails Democrat Bob Casey, Jr by twenty percentage points, 54% to 34%.

Ridge is not worth going to the polls to vote for - just another RINO or Republicrat if you're from PA. I didn't vote for him twice for governor and I'm not about to start now.
Are you guys saying that Santorum appears on Imus with some regularity? If so, I may not even be able to hold my nose and vote for him. That might be the last straw for me and I worked in his first senatorial campaign and I understand why he had to repay Specter because he was on the verge of losing until Specter stuck up for him against a bunch of his fellow RINO's like Theresa Heinz. Gag me with a spoon if he even speaks to that embalmed talking cadaver let alone goes on his show.
Sign me to that too. Seems like a lot of you want to see the rats take over just to make a point or two. I have even floated that notion against McCain, but if it comes down to McCain vs Hillary, I'll write in for George Allen. I do feel that Allen will be the nominee.
Santorum gets whatever he deserves for betraying Pat Toomey. Notice how he, Bush and Rove have all been cursed politically for that act of betrayal of conservatism. When you sell out your principles, you stand for nothing, and the people won't be fooled.
They're going to watch him grow once they get him to D.C.!
From politicians I have learned to believe nothing at all.
The Pubbies are going down next year. Why? President GW Bush will not fight back, or for what he believes in.

Wrong. William Kristol gave him permission to defend himself and his administration last Sunday.
Probably bent over backwards to earn it.
Or forwards. I can never remember.
He must have bent over backwards to get it.....
The poll numbers show the political power of a pro-life, pro-gun rights Democrat plus the deep respect that so many felt for the late Governor Bob Casey, Sr. I think that Bob Casey, Jr. is going to win by a landslide. In my opinion, both Casey and Santorum are good men. Santorum is a great guy on pro-family issues but has really hurt himself by continuing support free trade in a state very hard hit by such policies. If Santorum had moved in a more pro-working families, populist direction on issues like trade, he might have had a fighting chance but now he might as well take a Cabinet post or just sit out the next couple of years.
Jinx! ;-)
Junior Casey is Schumer's puppet:

Looks like Santorum is definitely on the 'rat/lib/left hit list - caught the last five minutes of some ABC network show tonight with some blond newsreaderette berating Santorum at a book-signing, saying she had "tracked" him there to find out why he was being a hypocrit - seems he's come out publicly for limiting awards in malpractice suits to a quarter-million dollars, but his wife had recently won such a suit and been awarded a half-million - Santorum explained that his wife was an individual not bound by what he advocated and since the law still allowed such large settlements, he couldn't object - lots of very valuable anti-Santorum propaganda courtesy of the national MSM (wonder if ABC is going to "track" Schumer to find out what his staff knows about stolen personal financial information on some Republican Maryland pol)......
Santorum has made himself a target by being such a loose cannon. At the same time, he's just another "compassionate conservative" Bushbot.
You are absolutely right, but you must have aggressive, effective leadership from the top, and we do not have it!!!
DATELINE: Fairfax County, Pa. -- Late last week, Fairfax Circuit Judge Arthur Vieregg set aside the $350,000 in damages that Karen Santorum, wife of Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum, was awarded in a chiropractic malpractice suit last month, deeming the amount excessive and stating that he felt the jury had shown "undo passion [and] sympathy" in awarding the Mrs. Santorum $350,000 for her back injuries allegedly resulting from negligence by her chiropractor, Dr. David Dolberg....One rule for me; a different rule for thee.Mrs. Santorum was originally seeking $500,000 to compensate her for her injuries; total medical costs related to her back injury totaled approximately $18,800, and she was seeking compensation for pain, suffering, and anticipated future medical costs....
And it turns out that Vieregg wasn't the only one questioning the damages awarded in the case: critics of Senator Santorum questioned the $350,000 judgment in light of Santorum's own position on tort reform, notably his sponsorship of bills to cap noneconomic damages and attorney's fees and to require claimants to first seek resolution through a mediator before filing suit.
Yes Mr Taxpater and you pay more for it because of the costs of publication when you could get it free from the weather bar on your browser.
