Notice these losers can't deliver their states to the Republican candidates in elections for president or governor. They need to be replaced by real Republicans.

NJ - 4 represented by Chris Smith doesn't go anywhere near Jersey City. It cuts accross the middle of NJ from Mercer County (Trenton) east to the Jersey shore. While originally democratic leaning it has since been gerrymandered into a safe conservative district.

ooops, sorry for my faulty memory.

I'll still take Chris Smith over Christine Todd "It's My Party (and I'll Cry if I want) Too" Whitman-types.

I cannot understand why any reasonable person -- even on the left -- would oppose drilling in ANWR. It's not like we're drilling on Oahu or Lake Michigan or even off the coast of California or Florida. That I can understand. But ANWR is in the tundra equivalent of the desert. Nobody goes there except on trips to see what all the fuss is about. The animals love the pipeline, there is NO downside. The only people who I think might be opposed to it would represent Alaska. And the Alaskans want it more than anybody else. So what's the problem?

I really hate environmentalists, though. Nature fetishists know nothing about it. As my namesake says, I know that nature is smelly, rotten and generally unpleasant.

Well, at least so far, it looks like my east side Congresswoman isn't part of the problem—so I'm doing the best I can. :D.
