Yah, that goes for Detroit, the Hudsons (?), and NYC in the 1950's. Probably a lot of cities. Probably Paris, also. Hmmmmm.

And St. Louis, and Baltimore, and Cleveland, and Philly, and, heck, maybe even New Orleans!

Ithaca NY was once a beautiful place; we used to stay with my great aunt (all my father's people were upstate NY conservatives) every summer and loved it. \

Poverty, crime and blight are not the only characteristics that can ruin a city. Rich liberals can destroy a place just as effectively.
