Ok, where do these youth draw the line? With the Chevy ImpAllah?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it up from the previous night?

Let us hope the world has really gotten a snout-ful of what Islamics are all about -- after 9/11, the MYRIAD of other bombings, France's riots, etc, etc. These are NOT desireable people.
Washington, are you watching???

They might just be running out of cars, or the locals have finally figured out where to park them so they aren't easy targets.

Yes, there were more cars burned yesterday than the day before [if you are keeping track]. This is also the 3rd day of burnings in Belgium. Real peaceful, huh,,,

You are correct, there were fewer cars, at least in France. I'd be sure to notice a hundred less cars burning in the Toronto burbs... /sarc
Everyone's resting up for tomorrow's Holy Day and then it's "Fryday" again.

The real story is that the car burning has been going on for months without being reported.

Interior Minister Nicolas Sarkozy has ordered the expulsion of all foreigners convicted of taking part in the riots. If this story is accurate then it is notable that the mere threat of deportation was enough to quell the riots. Don't like France? Fine. We'll send you back to Tunisia.
This bodes real well for Sarkozy. He's going to look good. It is a shame this tactic wasn't implemented 2 weeks ago.

The real story is that the car burning has been going on for months without being reported. I've read that 30-40 are burned on any given night in the Muslims ghettos. Insurance must be a fortune, but at least French automakers have job security.

Didn't count when the cars being torched belonged to Jews. BTW - the French gov't is culpable in this. They are in fact using one ethnic group to purge them of another. They simply didn't count on the bully to turn on them.

Sacre bleu! I stand corrected again by Fox!
"Arsonists attacked again overnight, the 14th straight day of violence. However, car burnings fell again overnight to 482 from 617 the previous night, Hamon said."
A mere hundred more than reported by BBC. Hmmmm - and Fox is reporting the measures France is taking has the burning down "sharply -- who does Fox have reporting down there? An Algerian affiliate?

I believe it was me who said that they would soon tire themselves out.
Looks like I'm correct. It's not like they have jobs and they're used to showing up somewhere everyday . . . oh sorry was that mean?

If the election were held now, I'd be real curious as to how Le Pen would do...
I'm surprised that Sarkozy has not resigned, as the rioters demanded.
Kinda like the British in teh 30's recalling their Ambassadors to Germany because Hitler did not like them.

Of course it has gone down. The Curfew laws now allow search and seizure without warrant. These folks have been reigned in by the organizers.
The authorities can now enter any home and seize documents and make arrests at a whim. The non-citizen culprits can now be kicked out of the country without trial. So much for the "French superiority". Where is the ACLU now?
