thanks for the link, I've heard about their WAR ROOM but it ain't workin'...
"To keep up with its critics, Wal-Mart has to run a campaign, said Robert McAdam, a former political strategist at the Tobacco Institute who now oversees Wal-Marts corporate communications. Its simply nonsense for us to let some of these attacks go without a response.
The Republicans could learn a thing or two from Wal-Mart.
The War Room is a VERY BAD idea. Sam Walton's Wal-Mart had my support. The new War Room Wal-Mart is unrecognizable to me.
The problem I think is that Wal-Mart execs bought into the wrong diagnosis. They didn't have loses because of a boycott by the left. More likely, it was because the left infiltrated their staff, and Wal-Mart helped them do it with pc policies. Then, these lefties set out to treat the customers badly. I had a Wal-Mart cashier quiz me about stuff -- seriously -- and I innocently mentioned a Christian college we had visited over the weekend. SHE WENT ON A VERBAL RAMPAGE AGAINST THE COLLEGE AND CONSERVATIVE CHRISTIANS. I was very mad, but I just took it.
