Personally, I think that if they are still experiencing this exceptional level of violence (400+ cars burned last night down from 1,400 on Saturday) that it may not be that there's a dropped in violence but a change in the priorities of targets. I've read the reports of weapons caches being discovered around the outskirts of Paris as have many FReepers.

If there's still a group committed to violence, even though it's reduced some in number (or there's less cars to burn) it may signal change in how the violence manifests.

The press-scum "report" the "success" of fewer cars on fire, but then in paragraph 112 mention buildings being torched.

Yeah, there's fewer fires. But some of them are bigger.
