Personally, I think that if they are still experiencing this exceptional level of violence (400+ cars burned last night down from 1,400 on Saturday) that it may not be that there's a dropped in violence but a change in the priorities of targets. I've read the reports of weapons caches being discovered around the outskirts of Paris as have many FReepers.
If there's still a group committed to violence, even though it's reduced some in number (or there's less cars to burn) it may signal change in how the violence manifests.
