My post wasn't about the caribou's right to vote. My post was about the assertion that the animals which inhabit ANWR don't utilize the region (I think the poster said "the animals don't care because they don't hang out there" or something similar).
The primary reason that the caribou prefer the 1002 area for calving is that it helps them avoid mosquitoes and bot flies.
And getting the oil out will affect this how? BTW if the area is so dry, how can there be mosquitoes?
