Wait... the squishy Senate passes it and the House caves? WHAT THE HELL?If we accomplish things, then Hillary can't win in 2008, and we can't have that, now can we?

Someone was bragging to me that this was passed earlier this week. My response was to just wait and see.

Sorry...I thought that they were cutting the project from the budget because they wanted to look like heroes and say they were saving tax payers money.

Besides...why should we drill for oil....when Congress will just haul the oil companies in front of a hearing and berate them for making any profits... Exactly. We hate oil and we hate those who sell it.

The RINOS and Democrats run both Houses anyway, so it won't make a dime's bit of difference.

And just wait, when heating oil and gas prices once again return to were they were a few weeks ago, the Republicans will get all the Blame.
But, this time, the RINO Republicans will deserve the blame for high energy prices because they did not allow us to drill for what ever reason we don't know.
To: conservativebabe
No your not. I am so tired if these one sided compromises from our elected stooges. Some people on this forum say we have to compromise to get at least part of what we want. Yet every time the Dims seem to come out on top and we get screwed. Why should we be compromising at all, we are the majority are we not?
To: Cboldt
Just thinking that it may be a reverse of the Kerry thing,in this case "I voted against it before I voted for it".
I suppose these guys/ladies are reacting the way their constituents in the districts where they are from want them to.Perhaps this is the party leadership giving them some cover.
No I don`t believe in Santa Clause or the Easter bunny before anyone asks, just throwing something out as food for thought.

These limp-wristed bitches don't know how to be a majority party. Two democrat governorships remained in democrat hands and these losers are ready to update their Wills and drink the Kool Aid. The Country is yours Mz Pelousy and Mr Reid.
