I guess I didn't do a good enough job to convince them otherwise.

Some people are hopeless, Arnie. Irredeemably stupid and selfish are the voters of California.

Mostly the latter.

I keep asking them, Where is the money going to come from?
No answers of course on that.

Im proud of Arnold, he stood up for the right things. But that union nut is a tough one to crack. And crack it we will someday.

I disagree. He (or more accurately, his campaign team)didn't do a good job convincing the people. Both campaigns avoided discussing the issues themselves, instead spewing lies and rhetoric to try to "win." Some of these measures should have stood on their own based on fact and logic. The politicians and campaign strategists are the ones that treated all voters as if they were stupid and many of those voters just got fed up with it all.

That wasn't the case, the situation is that nobody comes out for special elections except for special interest like unions.
I truly believe that more than a third of those voting were union employees.

Arnold just bled them to death financially with these propositions. The unions even borrowed a ton of money and Arnold made them play defense.

They are anemic for 2006, so we run similar and other propositions again in 2006 and we will get many if not all of them passed.

The dems/unions aren't as cash heavy now and they are divided. The unions have to concentrate on their own propositions and can't afford as much to finance the Democrats. :-)

We are dividing them and it is now the time to conquer them.
Arnold did alright, even Reagan lost the same way in California as Governor 38 years ago and we did hear from him again also. ;-)
