"No one has proved that the documents were not authentic," Mapes says on this morning's "Good Morning America."

Nobody has suggested any possible method by which they might be authentic that has not been thoroughly and finally disproven.

Moreover, Microsoft Word produces a nearly identical document with its default settings, and an identical document with one minor adjustment.

In the face of all that, how can any honest person not agree that the documents are the crudest of forgeries?

Actually, th default setting on Word is to automatically superscript "th" endings on some words.
