What resounding victories?
VA-we expected Kaine to win. He shouldn't have, but did. VA already had a Dem Gov. Net gain/loss - 0.
NJ-see above.
Ohio- issues 2-5 DEFEATED SOUNDLY!!!

Or the San Diego mayoral race, or the Ohio defeat of the Soros/MoveOn.org initiatives...

Dean is such an ass. Exactly how many gubernatorial seats did the Dims pick up yesterday? Zero? Yes, resounding is the only way to describe such a political earthquake.

Seriously though, what can one say? The Dems held in New Jersey, where it seems a monkey could get elected as long as it had a 'D' designation, and they won in Virginia, where many did not bother to vote, and where the Dems also won in 2001 despite the President's stratospheric popularity.

Dems replaced dems so I don't see the big deal. If he is saying the dem's position were all no on Prop here in CA they are in big trouble they might have won the props but lost all the bond issues.
My guess is the people don't want change and don't want to pay for anything new. We are taxed enough.

Jon Corzine and Tim Kaine were strong candidates who offered vision and leadership based on the shared values and priorities of the voters of New Jersey and Virginia.Jon Corzine is a lying scheming thief, which puts him right in line with recent Dem leadership in NJ. Oh well, at least his dalliances are hetero!
