I am a German immigrant and I know that the NPD believes that Hitler did nothing wrong and that they embrace his philosophy.

They would love nothing more then to bring the third Reich back.

I guess that shouldn't be too surprising, as the "original" NAZI party went by the name Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, or N.S.D.A.P., and this "new" group uses the name Nationaldemokratische Partei. The only words left out are Socialist and Worker (Sozialistische and Arbeiter).

Its been awhile, maybe 20 years but I remember a story in the news about Germany and the anti-immigrant crowd their burning down an apartment building where immigrants lived trying to force or scare them into fleeing the country.

I think there will always be a faction in Germany who would like to see the return of the Nazi's to power, however small that faction may be, it is there waiting for an opportunity to arise, hoping history repeats itself if given the right issue to draw support from the people of Germany.
