If a typo is the only fault you can find in my argument, I take it that you don't disagree with anything else I wrote?

Korematsu, interestingly enough, was a decision reached in PEACETIME. No court in wartime would agree.

No, it was reached in 1944, during the war. And it gave the greenlight to stripping the rights from American citizens, much the way Dred Scott did. And is held in about as high regard today. You may want to read it one day.

If you need a constitution to tell you that the first order of business of a nation is survival, I pity you.

If you think you can trust the Government with unlimited power, I pity you.

By the way, if it could have been proven that "all the Japanese" were in fact a deadly threat, say, individually carrying biological weapons in their bodies, I would have no problem with killing them. It's an ultra-far fetched scenario, but the principle is, survival always comes first. Period.

But that scenario proves my point. In that case, you are saying that they are not innocent, that they have chosen to carry these weapons. I am saying that when they are innocent, it is unjust to punish them.

This is based on the research of others who have studied the Muslims much more than I.

But those 200 million are spread out all over the world forcibly converting infidels to Islam or murder them if they choose not to. In the Sudan I read about the Janjaweed militias going into a Christian village and raping the women who refused to convert. Then they slashed their breasts off. Muslim is such a kind religion and only a few lone individuals are doing these dastardly deeds.

All those that are think that Islam is a RoP (religion of peace) like the Prez, why not go over to the Sudan and visit the Christians and let them tell you how peaceful their Muslim Sudanese government is and how peaceful the Muslim citizens are.

Let's start a FR fund, to send those that think that Islam is a RoP, and buy them plane tickets to one of the 22 war zones where all those lone Muslims are engaged in Jihad against the Infidel to see just how peaceful and prosperous Islam truly is.

Not all Muslims are terrorists, but almost all the terrorists you hear about today are.....MUSLIMS!

Then I guess we should be worried about punishing the terrorists and not punishing all Muslims, right?

Obviously those Muslims haven't studied the Koran with their imams. Tell them to go study.

Legal immigrants have no right to live here permanently. They are not citizens. Asking legal Muslim immigrants to leave the USA during the War on Terror is reasonable and prudent. Bluntly put, they aren't worth the risk. Whatever benefit they bring can be more safely obtained from native non-mulsims or other, non-mulsim, immigrants.

Deportation camps leads to death camps. The fact that so many here have not come out strongly against this idea is terrifying to me. The NPD are neo-nazis, plain and simple. They embody the worst aspects of left and right, just as the Nazis did. These are the people Americans died fighting so the world would never again know their madness and evil.

There is no merit to camps of any sort.

Deport illegal immigrants. Arrest and imprison criminal. Execute terrorists. But do not start rounding up minorities and putting them in camps. If we are in a state of total war again, maybe I might be more sympathetic. Maybe. Until then, grossly immoral and it should be completely out of the question.

I assume they're referring to the French. Wouldn't it be more humane to just get them to bathe in the routine manner of the despised Anglo-Saxons?

For PR purposes they could have phrased this a bit differently, maybe simply calling for deportations, but it's really the only way to deal with the problem. The alternative is appeasement.

YOu are naive and ignorant about Islam and how Islam is implemented in Islam-dominated/ruled countries.

No use in educating those who refuse to do their homework.

I will repeat though, that some of the ways in which the citizens that were interned were taken advantage of, and suffered under prevailing racism of the time was unconcionable. But I won't spend too much time apologizing for a different culture (in time), a different war, and a different racial understanding. Still, I know there were plenty of people that knew that the racism and misappropriation were wrong.

What about punishing their support network that aren't in the public eye? There are many, many more of them.

I'm well aware of Islam's history. I've even read the Koran.

How is this relevant to this conversation?

If they are guilty of a crime, punish them. If they are innocent, do not. If you are talking about "support" to mean "ideas" or "thoughts" or "speech" or something like that, then no. If you mean "actions" or "knowingly aiding" or something like that, then yes.
