what interests me is that there have been so few casualties---the mujahadeen are holding back, waiting for orders and organizational support from Al Qaida...
That certainly smacks of organization -- they are intentionally limiting things to property damage (with very few exceptions). I think maybe even the French would have the stomach for a fight if it was to protect people from being hurt and killed. If it's just property damage, we'll, c'est la vie.

this looks more and more like a test of French Gov - what they will do if we do X..setting France up for the big punch after learning how they respond..much like the terrorists flying pre 9/11 to see how we respond to various carry on weapons..box cutters were OK.
Well yes, it does take time to smuggle in all those AK-47's from Iran. But the savages are achieving gains without killing anyone, which is good strategy--assuages the anxiety of the infidels and doesn't arouse lethal resistance from the authorities. Better to erode support for the government and demoralize the dominant populace with assaults on symbols of economic disparity such as automobiles.
No, the killing will come but at an opportune time.
Nah, there are so few casualties because the french are in hiding behind locked doors. Afraid to confront the people burning up their cars.
