Those increases come at a time when STD rates among historically important risk groups, especially women and minorities, have declined, according to a new report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

God has cursed us by not making these diseases instantly fatal.

IIRC, holding fairly steady in the late 40's for non-AIDS deaths, with aggregate lifeexpectancy in the early 40's with AIDS deaths included.

"You reap what you sow."

Yup ... can't legislate that away. All you can try to do is legislate immorality - and we are not succeeding. We just throw more money at it.

But let's just keep telling school children how wonderful the "gay" lifestyle is.

I find it increasingly difficult to smoke cigarettes in public places due to the publics aversion to inherent heath risks found in second-hand smoke

Yet once a year the city of Chicago (home) will shut down
major downtown streets and patrol them with city employees
in order to celebrate an increasingly deadlier health risk life style

HUH?

I had the same reaction as you. I'm not familiar with the history of the "historically important risk groups".

historically important risk groups, especially women and minorities,

PC claptrap.

It's like the old joke about the newspaper reports that the world is going to end.

The NY Times headline has the sub heading, "minorities and women hardest hit".
