My favorite PC or Game Console games are?....

 

Back to normal for all of you that refuse to write or read backwards. I was thinking about writing everything in Samoan, but MoJo is too lazy to translate everything.

What we're doing:

With Christmas coming, we figured it would be a good idea to do this thread again for those of you that didn't catch it the first time.

Besides, the XBox 360 will release at Walmart a week from today. If you are into the game console thing, then you'll be excited about it as much as MoJo and crew.

So? Let's hear about it.

Please try to limit the graphics. Our Troops might not be able to see everything on the thread if you post huge graphics.

MoJo will share her favorites on the thread!!

Operation Seasons Greetings
 

The FReeper Canteen/Proud Patriots, Inc are proud to present *Operation Seasons Greetings* again this year.

Operation Seasons Greetings is an effort to ensure that our military Troops receive the holiday cheer they deserve from back home.

If you are interested in helping, here's what you can do:

1. Get your local schools involved. It might be short notice, but all items must be to Proud Patriots by November 28th at the latest.

2. Get your churches involved with gathering items to send to our Troops.

3. Get your children involved. Have them draw pictures.

4. Send Christmas cards or regular Holiday greetings cards. Help to ensure that all of our Troops get a holiday message. How do you do that? Go to the Dollar Store (or whatever store you shop at) and buy the boxed greeting cards. Sign them and then mail them off to Proud Patriots.

5. Donate for shipping!

You can join one of the teams:

Team Red -> AZAmericonnie
Team Blue -> StarCMC
Team Purple -> radu
Team Orange -> MoJo2001

You can help one of the teams and coordinating efforts with the team leader you choose to join.

In 1914 Ernest Shackleton led an expedition to sail to Antarctica, and then walk to the South Pole. The expedition went according to plan until ice trapped the ship and eventually crushed its hull. The men made their way by lifeboat to a small island. Promising to come back for them, Shackleton and a small rescue party set out across 800 miles of perilous seas to South Georgia Island.

With only a sextant to guide them, they made it to the island. Shackleton then led his party over steep mountainous terrain to the whaling port on the other side. Once there, he acquired a ship to rescue his crew. Their leader had kept his word and returned for them. Not one man was left behind.

As Jesus was preparing to leave His disciples, He promised to return. He said, "If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also" (John 14:3). After enduring the horrors of the cross, Jesus rose from the dead to provide eternal life to all who believe in Him as their Savior. He indwells us today by the Holy Spirit, but one day He will return and gather us into His presence (1 Thessalonians 4:15-18). Jesus is true to His word.
