Send TO to Green Bay.

Why? So we could lose more games?

Favre doesn't want Owens.

Rush critcized the media for fawning all over McNab and he was fired too.

The problem with the Eagles is McNabb, he stinks and nobody wants to say so for fear they'll be repremanded. T.O. was right, favre is a much better quarterback.

One of the best receivers in the NFL, and also the biggest jerk.

*************

I think they made the right decision. I remember the turmoil within the NE Patriots of old, which was caused by a combination of egotistical players and coaches who were willing to look the other way.

Let's see if he gets anywhere near the roster bonus or contract terms he would have earned had he stayed with the Eagles. Though there's always a bad team willing to overpay to put people in the seats, and TO has unquestioned talent, I just don't see someone opening the checkbook quite that wide. And I do not think there's a legitimate contender willing to break up a good chemistry.

Having said that, Dallas or Oakland would be a perfect fit for an a@hole... those places are airports, if you fill in the old joke.

Alternate headline:

"Owens opens mouth, Eagles insert suspension."

This moron is truly defecating his livelihood and career away. He wanted out of the 49ers and the Eagles gave him a huge contract. Then he demands more money just a year after signing the original one. Now he's becoming disruptive.

No team should sign this loser, maybe he'll get a job at Wal-Mart as a greeter.

"The Eagles are clearly the worst team in the NFC East with or without TO."

That might well be true, but I would rather be the worst without him than even the best with him.

Players like Terrell Owens are precisely why the New York Giants give extensive psychological tests to prospective players before they draft them. A rotten apple like this -- no matter how talented he is -- will ruin an entire team.

They should trade McNabb for Favre and maybe they can still make the playoffs.

After the TO stunt at midfield, he would not be welcom in Dallas either.

I respectfully disagree. The Eagles had a pretty decent team even before TO got there, and last year they were a few plays away from being Super Bowl champions. The problem with the Eagles is that their defense and running game has disappeared this year.
