This is like a wildfire with floating embers setting off small fires in disconnected regions.
Today is the 7th of November. I wonder if AQ had anything in the pipeline for today which would coincide nicely with this unrest.
The only consolation in all of this is evidence that the Arab street in Europe does not appear to be interested in suicide attacks as a general strategy. Yeah, there was the British attacks, but with this many people incited, it would be quite an opportunity for the disgruntled to pour more fuel on the fire. That doesn't mean there aren't AQ sleeper cells which may be activated, but the Arab "street", as it were, doesn't appear to be at that level of radicalization YET. That said, they are certainly on the cusp of becoming endeared to the radical Islamic mentality.

This pic seems eriely familiar to that.
It's in the French DNA, it seems. In the past, it was "Let them eat cake"; now, it's "they're just vandals, let them burn cars".

AQ sleeper cells which may be activated, but the Arab "street"< P>I wouldn't be surprised if this is an AQ op all the way. Bombing trains is probably too dangerous now and airplanes won't work again. This is the current tactic.
