Apparent copycat attacks spread to other European cities for the first time, with five cars torched outside Brussels' main train station, police in the Belgian capital said.

Australia, Austria and Britain became the latest countries to advise their citizens to exercise care in France, joining the United States and Russia in warning tourists to stay away from violence-hit areas.

Clashes around France left 36 police injured, and vandals burned 1,408 vehicles overnight Sunday-Monday, setting a new high for overnight arson and violence since the rioting started Oct. 27, national police chief Michel Gaudin

OK..........well, I stand corrected..............again. :)

It did start slowly, didn't it? So you think c. 5,000 is right then?

Are we going to get information about the "youths" who beat this man to death? Poverty made them do it, I suppose.........

More Info for all:

Muslim businesses are NOT being attacked.

Muslim internet poster: Brahim. I quote:

"Nice work people," he writes. "The cops are petrified of us, everything must burn, starting Monday, the operation 'Midnight Sun' starts, tell everyone else, rendezvous for Momo and Abdul in Zone 4 ... jihad Islamia Allah Akhbar."

User "Samir's" message is just as threatening. "You don't really think that we're going to stop now? Are you stupid? It will continue, non-stop. We aren't going to let up. The French won't do anything and soon, we will be in the majority here."

"....But whose side would the US be on? Would Kerry not be demanding that the French accomodate the just demands of the oppressed minorities? Or is he truly a Phrankophile? Would Kerry support the French, even against the Mohammedans?....."

My point is the MSM. They have been under-reporting this because the riots in France validate Bush (e.g., Bush was right about terror and Jihadists).

If a Dem was president, they would be all over this. Anytime Clinton *appeared* to take a leadership position, the MSM would proclaim it to the high heavens.Look at his decision to bomb Iraq just as the Monica thing was starting to explode. The MSM were wetting themselves trying to get the story out.

If BC were president now would the right need to be covertly supplying the WH with Monica's cousins in order to have a "robust" foreign policy?

Actually, I fear a Democrat presidency, especially with the likes of Kerry at the helm. There would be accomodation and pullback and withdrawal until the saracens take advantage of our lack of any sort of security and Boston Harbor gets a nuke in a freighter. A Kerry would go nuts and start throwing everything we have in all directions.
