Analyst says Wilson 'outed' wife in 2002
WND ^ | November 5, 2005 | Art Moore

A retired Army general says the man at the center of the CIA leak controversy, Ambassador Joseph C. Wilson, revealed his wife Valerie Plame's employment with the agency in a casual conversation more than a year before she allegedly was "outed" by the White House through a columnist.

Maj. Gen. Paul Vallely told WorldNetDaily that Wilson mentioned Plame's status as a CIA employee over the course of at least three, possibly five, conversations in 2002 in the Fox News Channel's "green room" in Washington, D.C., as they waited to appear on air as analysts.

Vallely and Wilson both were contracted by Fox News to discuss the war on terror as the U.S. faced off with Iraq in the run-up to the spring 2003 invasion.

Vallely says, according to his recollection, Wilson mentioned his wife's job in the spring of 2002 – more than a year before Robert Novak's July 14, 2003, column identified her, citing senior administration officials, as "an Agency operative on weapons of mass destruction."

Has this Maj General spoken to any other reporter or any other news organization? If not, why not?

MSM: "Who is more credible, Maj. Gen. Paul Vallely or Joe Wilson? That's and easy one, Joe Wilson of course!"

Vallely made his claim in an interview Thursday night on the ABC radio network's John Batchelor show.

If Fitzgerald spoke to Plame's neighbors, did he also speak to this Major General? If not, why not?

Joe Wilson, a lying sack of political excriment, is the latest in a long line of poster boys for MSM's inability to tell the truth. He should be in jail and the MSM should be collectively sued for misrepresentation and anti-American activities. Think about all of the time and monetary resources that have been wasted so the NYT can have a couple of salacious anti-Bush headlines and Demonrats can "stick it" to Bush. All lies, but then that's exactly what we have come to expect from the MSM and the 'rats.

My Prediction: More people will be coming "out" to refute this ridiculous, left-wing, moonbat so-called "outing" shortly.

Fitzy's case is as watertight as the Titanic...

The picture of Valerie Plame and Joe Wilson on the cover of Vanity Fair before the false accusations of Wilson and the staged effort of the CIA and the democrat party is all I needed to cast doubt on Wilson and wife years ago.
You would think that the justice system and Fitzgerald would have noted these false accusations and also indicted all the liars of the left wing persuasion who made false statements under oath along wiht Mr.Libby.Their parts in this whole affair makes the Grand Jury look like a partial institution controlled by fools and liars and continues to undermine the faith of Americans who expect that the justice institution render justice!

If Fitzgerald spoke to Plame's neighbors

The question is how many neighbors did the Plame's actually know very well and socialize with? Now days, one knows very few of their neighbors much more than a casual acknowlegement of recognition. Fitz can easily exclude those and still have the majority of the neighbors to canvas for that little publicity stunt.

The case is not about outing anymore, it's about Libby and Rove's stories not being accurate and appearing to be lies. Lying to a grand jury. Just another example and lesson for the republicans to keep their mouths shut and not to have interviews with the corrupted and bias media. The republicans could accomplish so much if they could only keep their mouths shut.

Because the source is WND, I half-expect the next paragraph should read: "But officials at Pleasant View Psychiatric Hospital deny that Paul Vallely is a general; in fact, they also deny that he is Napoleon Bonaparte." Still, I'm hopeful that this can be corroborated soon!

This is a recognized career path for low-level bureaucrats to pursue. It's called the Betray Your Country, Become a Media Darling and Sell a Books, path to success.

And when the media adore you, you don't even have to worry about looking at your face in the mirror. If any stray thoughts to come up ("I am a traitor") they can easily be suppressed with others: "My public loves me!"

Can someone please tell me why Libby lied when he never had to? Still can't figure that one out.

Agree!

If hillary clinton The Smartest Woman in the World can have the worst memory on record when it comes to answering questions while under oath...and get away with it, then our side needs to develop selective amnesia!

I heard Vallely say this last week on the John Batchelor show. John Gibson from Fox also says that Wilson referred to Valerie Plame as "my CIA wife".

My point was that things in WND are not always what they say they are.
