Thanks for the tip. I have to go to bed. Off to work early tomorrow. Sixty percent of my shift I work for myself and the other forty percent for the government. Thanks for the welcome.

Welcome, my advice is this:
write whatever you want to. You're obviously somewhat conservative, so I don't think you'll have a view that's so extreme that you'll be "zotted." I write whatever I want, I get along fine here. Don't worry about rules, or not writing vanity posts, etc. This is an Internet forum, it's fun, it's informative, but some people take it way too seriously. By the way, this was meant as much for others as it was for you. Welcome and have fun.

Witness the chaos in France. That is the fate of those who believe appeasement is the way to deal with Islam. Well, Sam ... at least we agree on this.

10% of freepers are Bush Bashers and they are either Buchananites or third party voters. This 10% is a very vocal minority on this forum.

Better idea, put his face on the Statue of Liberty.
That would show them.

Dude... you are stupid. Go back to your underground bunker and make sure you have your 60 day supply of rations and an adequate supply of tin foil hats.

Reasons I have a problem:
1. you are brand new to the discussion.
2. You don't follow the rules [probably because you are new-- so I can let it go]
3. "Christ in your corner. . " What Christian speaks that way? I think it strongly indicates someone who belittles the role faith can play in politics. In multitude of parodies made by the left of Republican politics Christian references are juxtaposed against trivial assertions to make Christians appear insincere.
I hope you are sincere but your post does not inspire confidence.

Dubya, is that you? THAT is a little thick, and I can't think about Mount Rushmore because I can't get past thinking about the gallows, for the crimes against America! You know, the unconstitutional trade agreements, giving billions to terrorist nations, spending like a liberal, etc. I'm sure you know just what I'm talking about! His allegiance to the United Nations, just like his Papa Bush, and that definitely loses ground for Bush!

Great President, or the Greatest President in History?
Colbert Report ping.
To: DuckFan4ever
I hope your faith is restored eventually. I admire the President deeply on a personal level, am pleased to have voted for him, and believe he is the right man for the job at this point in time. How history sees him is not something we can determine now.
But man is the key concept here and so I never believed his administration would be without mistakes or policies I disagreed with.
To be honest, I'm not completely sure what that makes me.

Having said that, though, it appears that the moderator likes your vanity, or he would have deleted it... ... unless, of course, he just wanted to let us have a little fun on a slow Sunday night. LOL

Nonsense. They'd build an organic nursery farm before an oil refinery. We can't drill in ANWR because of all the precious caribou. Apparently freedom from foreign oil dependence isn't as important as protecting some deer.43 posted on 11/06/2005 7:25:47 PM PST by BushPolicy
We've finally achieved control of the levers of power. The liberals and the media can't knock us off our perch, only we can.
First you say we can't drill, and then you say we've achieved control of the levers of power.
Which is it?

Don't worry about rules, or not writing vanity posts, etc. Imagine if everybody registered on FR thought the way you did, you dumb newbie.

Welcome to FR!
Nice to have some one around that is not constantly bashing the President.

That's our side pulling our punches. Even though we're in power, we're letting the opposition party exist.
