Thanks so much. Please spread the word. With the internet and email, if even a few hundred of us forward it on, asking our friends and relatives to sign and then forward it on in the same manner...those chains can grow to tens of thousands and hundreds of thousands in a couple of weeks time. That's what it will take here.

Just got started less than an hour ago. Now past 60. If we all get involved and forward it around to all we know, asking people to sign and forward to as many people as they know...it can grow exponentially.
There's no reason for this as the design was due to the topography of the area, NOT some idea about promoting Muslim beliefs.

Sorry...whatever the reason, the resemblance is clear and not something I favor or will support. Therefore, for me, and others who feel the same way, there is all the reason in the world. It is the way our process works.

FYI, as we discussed.
In the spirit of this memorial, I propose another 9-11 memorial to be placed within the holiest city of Islam--Mecca.
The proposed memorial will be a stylized cross, to show that 9-11 placed Mecca in the "crossroads" concerning cultural amity and understanding.
Failing that, I would reluctantly support a large statue of Porky Pig drinking a Budweiser...as long as he was giving the one-finger salute.
