Pleasee sign this petition opposing the "Crescent of Embrace" design being developed for the Flight 93 memorial. Despite vague comments by the designer and the Park Service, the design is going forward as yet unchanged.
PETITION: Oppose the "Crescent of Embrace " Proposal for the Flight 93 Memorial
We must, as US citizens oppose this travesty and make our voices heard. If enough of us do so, we will be successful as we were in opposing the Flag Raising Monument in January of 2002 that had been planned for the WTC Flag Raising.

I believe the state of Pennsylvania may have some concern about this. The site is already becoming popular. Some of my friends were down visiting me from Ohio, and stopped at the site. This would be an embarrassment for the state.

I hope so. I hope to be able to visit Shanksville when we're up that way over Thanksgiving. I can't imagine visiting a red crescent. What a disgrace!
