[history]
Pleasee sign this petition opposing the "Crescent of Embrace" design being developed for the Flight 93 memorial. Despite vague comments by the designer and the Park Service, the design is going forward as yet unchanged.
PETITION: Oppose the "Crescent of Embrace " Proposal for the Flight 93 Memorial
We must, as US citizens oppose this travesty and make our voices heard. If enough of us do so, we will be successful as we were in opposing the Flag Raising Monument in January of 2002 that had been planned for the WTC Flag Raising.

This shows the orientation of the center of the proposed Flt 93 memorial cresecnt...to Mecca. "Coincidentally" orients the center of the crescent to Mecca within 1/2 of a degree.

I understand your intention, and your comments about what we face are spot on. However, I do not believe it is good to post them here on a family site...and they will be gone tomorrow on the petition as well. The fact that we are indicating in the posts that vile, filthy comments are being made is good enough for me.
Thanks for the intent and the attempt to make clear what we face.
We fight evil on all sides...even here at home. Sadly, it is the conditions we are presented with...but we can fight it and win out victorious over it. This is our challenge, in our time, and it is a mortal one for liberty.

I don't mean to hammer this one home nor do I mean to side track the issue, but I do think that it is important that we have a record of this filth preserved somewhere. To show people that we are telling the truth, and that we are not exaggerating. I mean, I'm not necessarily shocked at the filth that I saw on the petition, but man alive, THIS WAS DONE IN MINUTES!
There are a lot of people who are more on the neutral side of politics. By showing them that this myth of the so call "peace loving all compassionate liberal" is only a myth, perhaps we can gain support. I personally think Michelle Malkin has it right by displaying her hate mail and showing everyone what dirtballs some liberals really are.
IN ANY EVENT, TOMORROW LET'S CLOG WASHINTON'S PHONE LINES!!!! These bozo's haven't seen anything yet!

(One Wellstone memorial (rave party) is enough, thank you!)

Yep...they sure believe it is, and call it a crescent. Walks and talks like a duck.

No sweat buddy!
Let's get some sleep. It's going to be a long morning tomorrow!
I'll try to dig up some websites that list congress-men's phone numbers and post them in the morning. We'll give them a "Crescent of Embrace"!

PetitionOnline allows the people who sign the petition to make comments. We have some disruptor(s) who are making filthy, vile and offensive comments on the petition while clearly lurking on this thread.
As a result, it will be easier for PetititonOnline and FR to track them down...their IP will be recorded in both places. Its pretty pathetic, but saldy the nature of those we face in this fight sometimes.

It just looks that way. PetitionOnline is just overlaping the idiotic contents onto other names. Looks like the petition software they are using cannot handle more then a certain amount of letters for the name, so instead of truncating the name(Where these idiots are adding content) PO is moving the letters up and down to match the space available.
What they(petitionsOnline) should have done is also verify the signers by sending a confirmation email that required a click.

A little late now. Is there any way to have our names removed?

PetitoiopnOnline will fix these issues. They have done so in the past. On the WTC Flag Raising petition, where we gathered over 420,000 signatures, we had many hundreds of these and they got them all. It just took some time...and it got people riled because the other side was so clearly trying to disrupt it that more people signed anyway.
