"Must we destroy all of our cultural icons?"

Well, obviously not; the Clintons still walk free. *Rolleyes*

I agree, though. Enough is enough. And really, both these guys are talented actors. They need to fire the agents that told them that THIS movie was their 'Stairway to the Stars.' Yeesh!

(And remember, Hollywood tried to fool us with "Million Dollar Baby," too.)

Dearie, these two over twenty guys weren't little naive baby stars who depended on their agents for mere morsals of fame.

Gyllenhall is from entertainment stock...his parents!

And Ledger's been around the block a few times.

I have to believe they wanted to do this film.

Remember, Gyllenhall's sis is an outspokent anti-military, anti-Bush.

No doubt they did/do want to stick it in conservative's eye....

..too bad they'll pout when we don't go see it.

Thank goodness for INTERNET!!...and especially FREE REPUBLIC!

Million Dollar Baby was a great movie. Did you even see it? I will say this ONE MORE TIME. It did not glorify euthanasia. It just told a story...that's all.
