Kristol is asking a very good question: Why is the WH acting like a punching bag and not fighting back against the charges that they lied us into war? Why isn't Kristol fighting back for the truth instead of sitting on his butt, like most of the other "Conservative Pundits",; whining "Why doesn't Bush fight back".
Not Bush's job, that IS the job of the Conservative Pundits. Bush's job is to be President of ALL the people, not just the Conservative Punditry. When are they going to get off stupid and start fighting for the Movement's agenda? Frankly sick of this non stop whining from the Conservative Punditry. Funny how the SAME people who whine about "Bush is raising Bill Clinton stature" now want him to raise the stature of every liberal Senator by engaging them in a debate on the war. They LOST this fight in 2002 and 2004. If they want to lose the same argument again in 2006, I say "Let's get out of their way".

This is also the same group that trashed Harriet Miers. So they can accomplish something with their writings. Why the hell don't they use their power more often to get the truth out instead of bitching that the WH doesn't? Sheeesh

Here here people seem to forget that GWB is the President and head of State and not like in Britain where our PM is the leader of his party. There is a great difference.

Not Bush's job, Of course it is. He and his administration are under attack. It's up to them to fight back.

Who are the Conservative Pundits - I can name one - Brit Hume --- but what other strong conservative is there? I had hopes for FoxNews but they are so sloppy in their reporting and interviewing.

That's probably true MNJ.
Anyway what the hell are our guys supposed to respond to? That we purposely exposed undercover CIA guys!! That's not our agenda that's the rats modus operandi.
This whole thing is just the product of a desperate political party and is so bogus.

I couldn't agree with you more,MNJohnnie! I'm particularly sick and tired of Sean Hannity, Ann Coulter, and Laura Ingraham. Particularly the latter 2.They never miss a chance to criticize the President. I'm also tired of Rush Limbaugh. He seems to think that Reagan never did anything wrong, that he(Reagan was perfect). By saying all of that, belittles President Bush. It's easy to sit at a mike and flap your big mouth, when you're not accountable to anybody.
