This seems newsworthy...since it comes from the State Department

"Eid Mubarak" means... "look at the number six"?
To: MineralMan
Eid al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan, a time of prayer, reflection, and fasting.
And torching Parisian automobiles.

"This should be a fun thread."
Not really. There is a thread about the Germans sending Eid greetings, with lots of folks calling names. Our own President recognizes that it is not Islam that is attacking, it is a small percentage of Muslims.
Since I count a few Muslims as friends, I know this to be true, as does our President, apparently.
But...the thread may end up getting pulled I suppose.

If I was W's press secretary, I'd ask him to keep it short so I could write it with a magic marker on the side of a W-88. Or two.

I wonder if Persident Roosevelt sent any Holiday Greetings to Nazi's around the world in 1943...

"Where's the barf alert?"
I'm sorry. This is an official greeting from the President of the United States, George W. Bush. I do not put barf alerts on his words. You may, but I do not.

Eid Mubarak to our Muslim friends.
And may our Islaminazi enemies spend all eternity with their twenty-one swine.

Our own President recognizes that it is not Islam that is attacking, it is a small percentage of Muslims. It is true that only a small percentage of Muslims are attacking the West. It is also true that a fairly large percentage support those who are attacking us.
There are truly peaceful Muslims, but they are not anywhere near a large majority.

Roosevelt wasn't trying to foil Hitler by denying him an integrated connection between Germans and Nazis.
Some people just want to b!tch.

Apparently, President Bush thinks otherwise. He sends greetings to those peaceful Muslims, all over the world, and to those Muslim citizens of the USA...about 5 million, at last estimate.
What does he gain by not doing so?

I miss Reagan more every day. Can you imagine Reagan kissing and holding hands with King Abdullah?
