It shows how the Democrat Party in New Jersey has imploded.
Let's see them lose their death grip on the legislature (won only in 2002) and stop winning every Presidential race before we declare them "imploded."
1991, now, that was a 'RAT implosion in NJ.

Take out the fraud and Forrester is up by 35 points!

"The biggest problem is not just dead people voting, but people going from precint to precinct and voting multiple times for the dead."
And not just the dead.
Add voters from New York City and Philadelphia.
And illegal immigrants.
And a stack of $20 bills really makes sure that every legal voter in Camden, Newark, Paterson, and Jersey City finds his/her way to the polls.

It's New Jersey. Corrupt, self-serving politician is almost part of the job description for a Democrat.
So far, my prediction that the Corzine's wife attack ad will backfire on Forrester. He got a 2-9 point bump for running it.
This is the nastiest election I've seen around here in a long time. I still think using a candidate's ex-wife against your opponent is despicable, though. But the attack made news in papers as far away as Seattle. Which might hamper Corzine's Presidential aspirations in 2012.

I don't think it will backfire on Forrester.
Then again this is New Jersey.
Ethics are irrelevent to some of the dumbest voters in the United States.

My post got garbled. I thought it would but so far it hasn't.
One of the NYC newscasts said that there may be a "draft Codey" write-in movement afoot. THAT would most likely hurt Corzine.
For those unfamiliar with NJ politics, Richard Codey is the current NJ Acting Governor and a Democrat.

I'll say it for the 100th time: My grandfather remains a loyal Hudson County Democrat.
Of course, he's also been dead form 12 years.

Republicans do very well in South Jersey.

Interesting, but not compelling.
It'll be close, but Sen. Moneybags will ultimately win.

Seeing a lib like Corzine fall would be sweet.

Yah, it would.
And I'll be happy if I'm wrong.
But I don't think I am. It'll be like Bush v. Kerry.
Sure, Kerry should never have had to compete in NJ. Sure, Bush cut his deficit down 10pts. Sure, it was fun to watch.
But there was never any real doubt that, even though he got close, Bush wasn't going to win the state. It's the same here.

Corzine lose ? No, no. The 'Rats are already flying in the voodoo and witch doctors from Louisiana (and other parts, the hurricane, y'know) for their GOTD vote. My grandpa may be a bit tricky, as he is dust in a buried urn, but by golly, they'll make sure he promptly casts his vote for Corzine in Burlington County. Grandma's skeletal remains have been pulling the 'Rat lever since '58.

Remember, Democrats, this is about THEIR future. The living don't let the dead vote Republican.

It's hard for those dead voters to make it to the polls in person on election day.

Saw the debate tonight between Corzine and Forrester. Thought Forrester came away the clear winner.
Given the fact that Forrester carries the endorsement of two of the state's most widely read newspapers, the history of scandal in the NJ state house, Forrester can win big here.

If this is correct, Corzine is toast. The momentum is clearly against him.
To: new yorker 77
If Corzine wins, it will be reported that the Democrats have the momentum in the 2006 race and the GOP is finished. If Corzine loses, it will reported that the voters are against incumbents and the GOP is toast.
Same with Virginia. How sweet it would be to pick up both of those governorships...but not winning them is just the status quo. We've lost no ground.
To: Republican Wildcat
Yes, the media will lie.
They will not look at 2001 and the Democrat wins in thesee two states along with the turnover from Republican to Democrat seats in New Jersey amd Virginia in 2001.
