"It's way to early to pull this off."I agree.I also think if the French are pushed too far they're capable of reacting violently.

Thanks for posting. These riots were forecast by the tolerance the French showed to Muslim attacks on their Jewish French citizens. Clichy-sous-Bois the source of the riots was also the locus of many attacks on French Jews in recent years, attacks which were tolerated by the French government and police who refused to acknowledge the anti-Semitic escalation. These are the wages of appeasement.

Oh, you're referring to the land that Israel is illegally occupying with their civilian settlements, contrary to the Geneva Convention? Those lands that the UN told Israel to move out of, what, 35 years ago?I suggest you read UN Resolution 242. Israel is supposed to leave when there is a peace agreement. And there is nothing about Israel leaving all of the West Bank and Gaza. Israel has left Gaza. Only a moron would think peace would come if only Israel pulled every Jew off the West Bank

Then why did our brave men and women sacrifice their young lives to fight against Hitler in WW2? Do you think they should have said, "Well, the Indians settled America first so the Nazies have a right to come in and take us over."
I am not sympathetic to the plight of the illegal aliens. They are only a means to an end for George Bush's New World Order. And thatorder means poverty and slave labor for all American citizens.

I know. I know. I know. Aint' it grand? Not glad becuase of the average everyday people. I feel sorry for them in all of this. But...the powers to be who failed to help our President in our time of need? No sympathy there. Like you said...pass the popcorn and PLENTY of butter!!! :)

"The worm turns?" It's an old expression. I don't know where it came from but...it means "turn around" or eventually the worm turns. Or..."What goes around comes around" or my mom's fav..."Never spit up in the air." All different words but they all pretty much mean the same. Sort of like "Pay me now or pay me later." Eventually it coimes back to bite someone in the butt. :)

"The radicals have managed to chase away French shopkeepers selling alcohol and pork products, forced "places of sin," such as dancing halls, cinemas and theaters, to close down, and seized control of much of the local administration. A reporter who spent last weekend in Clichy and its neighboring towns of Bondy, Aulnay-sous-Bois and Bobigny heard a single overarching message: The French authorities should keep out." Coming to a neighborhood near you!

Uh?!? I guess you misinterprete my post. I was making the point that letting substantial members of an alien culture into your country is a dangerous thing to do.

That's right. It was too late. They were told by people that everything was going to be fine and they bought it hook-line-and-sinker. Look where they ended up by believing instead of verifying. Proud, self-sufficient, people relegated to virtual concentration camps with many starving to death while they watched men killing the animals they used to depend on for no reason other than their pelts.
I know my attitude on this sounds liberal, but I've thought all my life there is no excuse for what was done to these people -- who were here first -- the actions of the European settlers was nothing, if not presumptive and arrogant.... and I say this as someone who's roots go back to the 1600's in this country on both sides and also has Indian blood.

All reminds me of those jokes about the French Army rifles they sold on eBay awhile back.
