[FEMA's spokesperson] said Broward County's government put in a request to operate the centers only last Sunday, six days after the storm.(Emphasis added)
What a joke. And Wasserman-Schultz has been running around griping like a nagging girlfriend...it really is a repulsive sight.
can you "florida ping" this? who does the florida pings??
So Florida's EXPENSIVE housing? If they can afford to live in expensive housing than they should be able to afford to live elsewhere for a while till their condo's or homes are fixed.
Let them eat "chads".
Let the elite snobs down in Broward County whine. We in Central Florida got hit three times, hard, last year, and not a whimper! We took care of each other and didn't worry about any damn federal agency coming to help. There are still a lot of "blue" roofs in this area and that is because of arguments with insurance companies or lack of contractors. They can blow it out their a$$es down there! Friggin' crying libs!
All it means is that the legacy of Katrina will be,if someones life is at all disrupted from the norm by some catastrophic act of God or accident, the MSM will be running stories based on the template that Republicans aren`t doing enough to minimize or alleviate the impact.
I've lived in Ft Lauderdale for 50 years. My wife and I put in enough food, water, pet food and gasoline to last at least a week. I have no sympathy for any able bodied adult who didn't do the same. These people need to STFU!!! or move out of hurrican alley. Tomorrow would be fine.
